00Victory Valkyrie summary
Victory Valtryek (Victory Valkyrie by Takara Tomy) is a 33.3 g Burst remake Blade, released in Japan on March 21, 2025.
Victory Valkyrie perfectly captures the magic of the original and adapts it to the current system. It is visually impressive and offers an extremely fun and spectacular playstyle. It is without a doubt the strongest and most exciting remake of the generation. It doesn't worry about which rival it will face, because beyond winning or losing, it guarantees intensity and joy in every battle. It is a marvel!
01Mythology
It is based on a Valkyrie, the mythic warriors of Norse culture who chose those fallen in battle to take them to Valhalla.
02Description
It seeks to replicate the original Victory Valkyrie as faithfully as possible, merging the Disk and the Layer into a single structure. To achieve this, they expanded the shape of the old Boost disk to the same width as the Layer and exaggerated its slopes to align them between the wings. This completely alters the aggressive silhouette of the original, since in Burst the disk sat below and the blue wings had very prominent hooks that hit with mega intensity, even having a reputation for breaking because of how aggressive they were.
So, probably for safety and due to the higher speeds of the current system, those hooks were completely obstructed by the disk. Now the Blade features three huge, super slanted wings that continue from the disk to the edge of the Layer. It also features very prominent lower irregularities due to the shape of the disk, whose fronts remain exposed as aggressive contact points.
It should be noted that the entire periphery, including part of the Layer, is made of metal, which is why there is a visible division in them to notice where the metal ends and the central plastic begins. On the other hand, the hole for the Ratchet protrudes at the bottom, making it taller than an average BX/UX. Although it isn't obvious at first glance, its weight distribution is quite unbalanced. Even so, it is the heaviest remake so far. As an extra but very valuable detail, it not only preserves the stickers, the central “V”, and the face of Valkyrie, but it even has the internal details of the disk and the small lower stars that all Burst Disks had.
03Performance
Despite its imbalance and having smoothed the wings compared to the original, it maintains tremendous offensive power. Its wings are among the best for Upper Attack in the entire generation: they are long and pronounced. So by launching it tilted, they can lift practically any rival. The front of the disk can also connect remarkable Smash Attacks, and the lower irregularities can crush. In essence, it is a Blade completely oriented toward attack that can deal damage from almost any angle.
Its greatest limitation is the high center of gravity, which forces the use of low Ratchets and Bits to correctly take advantage of the Upper Attack. Additionally, its stamina is not good due to the imbalance. But here its chaos becomes its greatest virtue, because the erratic movement allows it to execute wonderful maneuvers! Like a Jet Shoot, bouncing all over the stadium to connect impressive impacts. Or with the rail, it can do a Flash Launch! Or with more controlled Bits, achieve the classic Rush Launch! Allowing you to replicate many of Valt's iconic maneuvers, but now at higher speed. Heavy and stationary Beys are not easy for it at all, but nothing will stop it, as it is the best partner, ready for any battle with power that is surprising and fun.
04Ways to use it
In medium combos, prioritizing frontal impacts from the disk with flat Bits of your preference.
In very low configurations with well-controlled flat Bits to maximize the ability to lift rivals, which goes well with a Rush Launch.
At medium heights with chaotic Bits to power up its unpredictable nature and execute Flash Jet Shoots with total intensity.
On Bits like Point, waiting for or forcing impacts that make it take the rail and execute a powerful Flash Shoot.
05Base combo

The 2 Ratchet tries to simulate the old Drivers, but it hurts stamina, makes tilting difficult, and increases the risk of bursting. Rubber Accel is a tribute to Variable; it loses momentum quickly due to the relatively light weight of the Blade and is complicated to control. Visually from the side, it doesn't look as cool either, and it doesn't let you show off Valtryek's true potential.
06Combos
Versatile classic attack. Allows launching upright or tilted with a good balance between control and power.
The combo that best recalls its original essence. Level provides surprise accelerations with good traction, maximizing impact and maintaining control. Super fun to use.
Extreme erratic attack to release all its chaos. Ideal for an unpredictable Jet Shoot festival!
Counterattack combo that takes advantage of the rail for explosive and super cool uncontrolled movements.
