00ValkyrieVolt summary
ValkyrieVolt is a 41.3 g CX Blade, released in Japan on July 17, 2025.
Valkyrie Volt has potential but is not easy to use at all, and although the Chip provides remarkable qualities, which if you have it you can get a lot of use out of, it doesn't achieve an exaggerated extra in performance that justifies spending so much for it. At least not if you are looking for it exclusively for performance, with Emperor being a much more accessible option that provides a good approach to what Valkyrie gives.
However, if you are a fan of Valt, Valtryek, and the Burst generation, then its value is immense! Since it is a wonderful tribute, from its brilliant design, its charm, and even because its name is pronounced the same as the character in Spanish, which brings endless memories for those of us who enjoyed that era.
Maybe it's just me, but I can't help but smile every time I see it. Besides, adjusting the combo, mastering the fundamentals, and launching with everything! It becomes incredibly fun!
01Mythology
It is based on a Valkyrie, the beautiful Nordic deities who chose the most outstanding warriors to take them to Valhalla to fight alongside Odin in Ragnarok.
It is a tribute to Valt's Valtryek, with its emblematic profile face identical to Victory's, featuring the classic central circle of the Dual Layer where the letter of the Beys used to go. In this case, its "V" is hidden in its helmet, which also divides into three parts that resemble Valt's cheek marks.
On the other hand, the Main Blade is inspired by the triangular shield shape of the Single Layer Valkyrie, which also has marks on the white plastic that resemble Valt's as well.
02Description
Its triangular shield shape is divided into 6 sections that resemble the edge of the valkyries' spears, 3 are longer and exposed, and 3 are incredibly small.
The latter remain hidden within the circumference, so they almost do not come into contact. Meanwhile, the long ones feature a very marked upper edge that descends forming an aggressive lower slope.
In general, its entire top part is quite flat, without irregularities, but definitely with super sharp edges.
03Performance
This review covers the part Volt
Because the tips of the spears are located on the top part and are widely spread, it struggles to land consistent impacts in a classic attack. On the other hand, its lower slope is mega good for smashing and deflecting attacks, but its stamina is not enough to stand out in a pure defensive style.
So its greatest potential lies in not depending on either of them, but rather taking advantage of its sharp triangular shape to release erratic attacks. Additionally, by loading all its weight on the top part, it tends to wobble, which can generate a great leverage force to power up its chaotic impacts, managing to smash, hit directly with its spears, or even wear down with its sharp circumference.
Its main weakness is its below-average stamina, and especially its thin thickness, which due to the nature of the CX System can make it complicated to hit consistently with the metal. Therefore, it requires much more powerful and tilted launches to promote its chaotic movement and take advantage of the bounces to maximize its impact force.
04Ways to use it
This review covers the part Volt
In pure Jet / Flash Shoot style: bounce, take the rail, and generate chaos from the start. The key is in the momentum of the launch, and in playing with the tilt to encourage it to hit with its edges at the beginning and then be able to stand upright to smash, giving it variety in its hitting style.
On Bits with moderate movement (Ball, Elevate), it can move around, tilt, and force impacts to smash or deflect aggressive attacks. It is decent, but limited by its moderate stamina.
05Base combo

Although Slash and Vortex fit perfectly because they are names of parts that Valkyrie had in its generation, in performance they are not of much help.
On one hand, Slash does not provide weight or stability to power up its impact force, so it does not hinder but neither does it benefit. Meanwhile, Vortex has incredibly low stamina, and gives it even less action time, while the 70 height makes it difficult to land impacts with the metal.
Visually it is beautiful, but in battle it falls super far below its real potential.
06Combos
Moderately Erratic Attack, in which Heavy with Valkyrie provide weight and stability, while Taper generates fluid but varied movements with decent stamina. Ideal to exploit its chaos.
A combo to maximize its erratic movement. Kick and 1 power up the chaos, while Emperor helps extend the action time maintaining great impact force.
Hybrid Mobile Defense that can counterattack, and attack with elegance.
Why does it work this way?
