00Under Needle summary
Under Needle is a 1.8 g defense Bit.
Under Needle offers a solid and stable defense, ideal for heavy and balanced Blades that do not rely on tilting to protect themselves. Providing one of the most consistent and safest defenses that make it viable at a competitive level.
01Description
A Bit with a sharp tip that slightly protrudes between the gears and is 2 mm lower than the original Needle. Instead of a full circumference above the gear, it features a three-blade clover, characteristic of Low type Bits.
02General properties
Having a lower center of gravity, it offers significantly greater stability, reducing the Bey's wobbling and making it less vulnerable when tilting.
It still preserves some tilting capacity to act as a shield defense, although to a lesser extent than Needle, since the ring formed by the gears provides additional support. This ring helps grip the Bey to the stadium during impacts, achieving a firmer defense against KOs and really consistent defensive results.
The same ring also smooths out the final spins, allowing it to maintain the spin for longer without exposing the lower part of the Blade.
Its main disadvantage is that, being lower, the three-blade flap can easily scrape the rail, causing it to get stuck, bounce, or have energy losses, besides the natural risk of the Ratchet touching the ground. Even so, the risk-reward ratio is quite well balanced, making it a mega valuable part.
Why does it work this way?
Blader's Path explains it step by step: Bey physics, how to build combos and how to test them.
