00Turbo summary

Turbo is a 12.7 g attack Bit.

Turbo is a direct tribute to classic tips like Big Bang Pegasus' Final Drive and God Valkyrie's Reboot. The idea is excellent and very fun, but within the X system, it turns out to be extremely risky due to its assembly mechanism. Even so, it is a nostalgic and entertaining part that will definitely get a lot of laughs out of you!

01Description

Turbo is the first fused Bit, which means it fulfills the function of a Ratchet and Bit in a single piece.

Its upper body is huge and features four divisions that form marked hooks with each other, while the lower part, where the Ratchet would normally be, smooths out into a sphere shape. The section corresponding to the Bit is a wide flat tip with 16 gears that extend throughout its height. Inside, it has a hole where a small flat tip made of POM plastic hides. When this comes out, it is at 90 height, and when retracted it becomes 65.

02General properties

Turbo's mechanism allows the small POM tip to be exposed by spinning with force, starting with a semi-aggressive movement. As it loses energy, the tip retracts and the Bey drops onto the large flat surface, suddenly becoming much more aggressive.

The POM tip slides easily, so from the start, the movement can become quite erratic, with a tendency to bounce due to the height of the Bit. Once it drops, it gains a notable acceleration and can perform Xtreme Dashes easily. This makes it a quite chaotic and aggressive part, super useful if you are looking to wait for the opponent to get closer to the center so that once they are in a more vulnerable position, it can release its surprise attack. While you don't have control over when or how it will do it, it can be really effective.

Its main problem is the simple assembly: depending only on pressure with the Blade, it becomes mega prone to bursting. Even more so because of the recoil from the prominent hooks on its upper part.

Curiously, it pairs incredibly well with Cobalt Dragoon, since by spinning to the left, right-spin Beys don't burst it as easily. Furthermore, the four divisions of Turbo align with his, powering up his impact force, which being so chaotic can land incredibly strong hits. And if the battle continues, the width of the flat tip keeps it almost totally upright, in an ideal position to equalize.

Why does it work this way? Blader's Path explains it step by step: Bey physics, how to build combos and how to test them. See the book
