Wedge

It is a very small and sharp tip, with the same diameter as Spike, but with a wider opening angle. Its gear features 8 rounded teeth, similar to those of Rush.

Although it visually resembles Spike, its performance is radically superior.

The more open shape of the tip makes it much more stable by reducing over-tilting and allows it to better conserve energy, while its shortened and smoothed gear does not scrape the ground.

While upright, it is super easy to push, excellent for breaking the rival's attack chain, without fear of losing control or wasting energy unnecessarily with an Xtreme Dash thanks to its small gear.

Additionally, it can be launched slightly tilted, Needle-style, to obtain a slight shield defense effect, but with a lower risk of instability.

It also shines in counter-defense combos, where the goal is to bounce against the walls and return impacts with force, especially on light Blades, which better take advantage of that bounce momentum.

Despite having great spin time, it is still very sensitive to imbalance, so it requires a really well-balanced combo to make the most of it.

In stationary battles, it doesn't reach the stamina of Ball, Hexa, or Orb, but its great advantage is consistency with the rails, which you won't have to worry about in case of making contact. Unlike others with wider gears, which could cost them the battle by being launched out on their own or draining a lot of energy after a strong Xtreme Dash. So it is an incredibly viable option for defensive combos.
