00Ball summary

Ball is a 2 g stamina Bit.

Ball is a versatile Bit that combines excellent stamina, solid defense, and semi-aggressive offensive potential. It offers multiple possibilities depending on the type of launch, making it an essential part that every Blader should have in their arsenal.

01Description

It is the standard stamina Bit, with its classic almost perfectly round shape, much wider than Orb.

02General properties

Its smoothed surface always maintains the same contact area with the ground regardless of the tilt, which allows it to conserve energy better than a sharp tip. And although its spin time doesn't reach Orb's, it is still one of the Bits with the best stamina overall.

Unlike sharp tips, which depend on the right angle to resist pushes, Ball maintains a consistent defense from any direction. Furthermore, its greater initial movement allows it to dodge attacks, and even attack semi-aggressively.

It can also sustain prolonged tilts, something useful for Blades that seek to attack from below or destabilize the rival. You just have to exercise caution, since if you tilt it too much it will tend to swing out toward the edges of the stadium, and once it surpasses a certain angle, it is almost impossible for it to recover its posture, remaining vulnerable to being smashed or having its Ratchet hit.

So it is a mega versatile Bit and sensitive to launch force and tilt; usually, the following happens:

  • > Tilted launch backward: Stays in the center longer, with a prolonged tilt.
  • > Launch forward: Generates more aggressive movements.
  • > Parallel launch: Orbits slightly around the center, dodging attacks.
Why does it work this way? Blader's Path explains it step by step: Bey physics, how to build combos and how to test them. See the book
