00Elevate summary

Elevate is a 3.3 g balance Bit.

Elevate does its job of lifting off the rail and staying upright. It is solid for semi-aggressive play and Evasive Defense, but its mega excellent equalization ability is why it is such a prized tip in the current competitive scene.

01Description

A thin-tube Bit whose tip is made up of three levels: a tiny flat tip, a second level as wide as a Flat, and 12-tooth gears that are more open than usual. On top of that, it has a wide slanted disc on the upper section.

02General properties

Its movement changes depending on which part touches the ground: the small tip creates subtle movement, while the wider section gives more aggressive behavior. Even with the same width as a Flat, it does not reach the same speed or power, since the smaller tip keeps it under super good control.

In addition, the open gears and upper disc make it harder to grab the rail, as head-on contact usually lifts it or makes it bounce, avoiding the Xtreme Dash and keeping its movement stable and reliable.

This is mega useful for keeping its semi-aggressive movement more consistent and controlled, ideal for prolonged attacks, while also being useful for Evasive Defense.

It also has defensive properties, since the disc and gears can stop pushes from impacts and help it quickly recover an upright posture.

To balance all these benefits, it was given a thin tube—the only balance tip with one—which makes it much easier to burst. So when facing same-spin Beys in semi-aggressive fights, Unite is more reliable.

However, where it truly shines is in stamina equalization. The smoothed disc and wide, slick base give it excellent Life After Death, making it one of the few that truly has it. Because of this, Cobalt Dragoon has made the most use of it so far, especially to directly counter the dominant Wizard Rod.

Interestingly, Elevate was originally conceived as an attack tip: its early design showed a wide tube, a fully flat tip, and a hexagonal disc. In the manga, it even keeps that category, although the final product redefined it as a balance Bit.

Why does it work this way? Blader's Path explains it step by step: Bey physics, how to build combos and how to test them. See the book
