00Free Flat summary
Free Flat is a 2.2 g attack Bit.
Free Flat is a super excellent addition for attack combos that seek a balance between power, control, stamina, and burst resistance. It manages to be a highly reliable alternative and complement to Rush and Low Rush, ideal for completing decks that wanted a third aggressive part with similar performance!
01Description
A flat tip of 6.5 mm in diameter, half a millimeter wider than Rush and half a millimeter narrower than the normal Flat.
Its ground contact ring is also thinner, approximately 1 mm, compared to the almost 2 mm of Flat. Additionally, being "Free", it doesn't feature the internal segments in the tube, allowing it to spin freely!
02General properties
In terms of movement, Free Flat is a middle ground between Rush and Flat, which you can force to move around quickly with upright launches, or to attack the center with an initial tilt.
It has greater mobility and speed than Rush, but with better control than Flat, while in stamina it is very similar to Rush, since its incredibly thin contact ring reduces wear with the ground. Although this slightly decreases the impact force, it compensates by allowing super stronger launches without so much risk of losing control. So in practice, it still hits quite well and is mega easy to handle!
Being free-spinning, it consumes less energy when taking the rail than the other two, which allows it to better conserve its momentum after the savage Xtreme Dashes. Furthermore, by not having internal blades in the tube, a kind of neck is generated that makes it harder for the Ratchet tabs to skip it, tightening stronger than a normal one and thereby reducing its risk of bursting.
