00Disk Ball summary
Disk Ball is a 3.2 g stamina Bit.
Disk Ball carries a lot of risk without providing an outstanding benefit compared to Ball and even Orb. But if you want to prioritize defense against knockouts, maintaining an upright position as much as possible, then you can give it a try.
01Description
A variant of Ball whose shape on the tip and the gear is identical, but it is 2 mm higher thanks to a wide disk added above the gear.
02General properties
The disk increases centrifugal force, helping the Bey recover its upright posture quickly after tilting. Additionally, when pushed, the disk can scrape the ground to slow down the movement, making it harder for it to be launched out of the stadium.
It's just that being so high, it is convenient to use low Ratchets to compensate for it, otherwise it won't protect you from anything.
Even so, although this structure improves defense against knockouts, it also brings two major problems:
- > If the disk constantly scrapes the ground, it will drain much more energy than a normal Ball, notably reducing its stamina.
- > Its height increases the risk of bursting, first by exposing the Ratchet more, but mostly because if it is smashed or gets stuck with the rail, the disk acts as leverage and can easily pop off.
Initially, it was thought that it would serve to equalize energy, but the disk sits too high to achieve it effectively.
Why does it work this way?
Blader's Path explains it step by step: Bey physics, how to build combos and how to test them.
