Ratchet 3

A Ratchet with three wide, smoothed divisions with a slight inward tilt. Not being so exposed, it is easy to hide under the Blade to avoid direct impacts.

Due to its smoothness and low recoil, it is a mega reliable part in defense and stamina, hard to burst, and which usually turns out to be really good at stabilizing 3 or 6-segment Blades.

When it does make contact, its slight tilt can be used to smash or destabilize rivals without coming out so affected by the impacts.

Furthermore, being an odd number, its alignment with the Blade will completely change depending on the side you assemble it on. So it's not just observing where it gives you better balance, but which alignment better complements the Blade you are using. On one side it could obstruct valuable contact points, stay more hidden, more exposed, or be better aligned to power up impacts.

In general, Ratchet 3 is stable and versatile, able to adapt to multiple situations and Blades.

• > 3-60 (6.3 g): Low version and the most stable. Ideal for defense and stamina due to its low recoil and lower exposure.

• > 3-70 (6.4 g): Medium version, which powers up the offensive by being more likely to make contact.

• > 3-80 (7.0 g): Tall version, the heaviest of the group. Within the range of this height, it is one of the Ratchets that provides the best balance between a good impact against the rival and decent burst resistance.

• > 3-85 (4.9 g): It is totally different, we will talk about it further down.
