00Point summary
Point is a 2.2 g balance Bit.
Point is an indispensable balance Bit due to its versatility and ability to alternate between stamina and aggressiveness depending on the situation. Its adaptable behavior makes it a key tool for players looking to Counterattack with precision without giving up stability.
01Description
It is composed of a small central point that slightly protrudes from a flat base of the same width as a Flat. It has a wide tube for greater burst resistance.
02General properties
Its design seeks to vary the behavior depending on which part touches the ground, something you can define at the start depending on your launch:
- > If the central point makes contact, the Bey stays static in the center with excellent stamina.
- > If the flat base comes into play, it becomes aggressive and mobile, even reaching the rail to execute an Xtreme Dash before returning to the center.
So with Point you will have excellent stamina in the center, defensive support against drops with the flat part, which will also give it a great Counterattack potential. So Beys with great stamina and silhouettes with aggressive potential can get super great use out of it, being able to wait to receive the impact and then Counterattack with mega great force.
On the other hand, pure attack Blades like DranBuster don't usually take advantage of it, since its paused style reduces the offensive rhythm they require to show off their power.
Unlike Taper/Unite which maintain a constant semi-aggressive movement, Point tends to adopt two extreme behaviors: it either stays completely still or moves aggressively, without intermediate patterns. Which makes it somewhat unpredictable but within a great margin of safety by not being so prone to launching itself out of the stadium.
The most recent versions of Point feature a more exposed central point, which improves overall stamina, although it reduces the frequency of its Counterattacks and causes a greater tilt in the final spins.
Why does it work this way?
