00High Taper summary
High Taper is a 2.3 g balance Bit.
High Taper is so far the only case where the shape of its original variant is completely respected and literally only the height changes. So what you see is what you get, a Taper 1mm taller, nothing more. So it is just as versatile to attack in the long run, defend around the stadium, and with mega good stamina.
01Description
A variant of Taper, identical in shape but just 1 mm taller. It shares the same 4 mm diameter flat ring and cylindrical diagonal cut. It has a wide tube for greater burst resistance.
02General properties
By preserving exactly the same structure, it maintains all of Taper's qualities, with the difference that its greater height elevates the center of gravity, which facilitates the use of the middle and lower part of the Blade.
That same elevation makes it slightly easier to knock out, although without a concerning impact in practice.
The choice between both versions will depend on the attack style you are looking for:
- > Normal Taper: Ideal if you prefer to take advantage of the upper middle part of the Blade for defenses and lower attacks.
- > High Taper: More effective in tall combos to smash and wear down with the lower middle part of the Blade.
From there on, its aggressiveness, stamina, and defensive support are identical.
Why does it work this way?
Blader's Path explains it step by step: Bey physics, how to build combos and how to test them.
