00Hexa summary

Hexa is a 2.6 g balance Bit.

Hexa may not be the most versatile in terms of movement, but its great stability and ground support make it one of the best stationary tips with amazing defense and strong stamina. An indispensable piece for your arsenal.

01Description

A wide-tube Bit with a broad, sharp tip in a hexagonal shape, whose edges extend down to the tip, creating small gaps between them instead of a continuous surface. It is paired with a large 16-tooth gear.

02General properties

Unlike a perfectly conical tip—which would tilt way too much—the six edges of Hexa allow the vertices to push the Bey upward when scraping the ground, helping it quickly recover an upright posture. Thanks to this, it barely tilts and tends to return to the center with super great stability.

These divisions also provide higher traction, slowing sudden movement and reinforcing its defensive ability. Especially due to its wide size, making it outstanding defensively. Even more so because it has a wide tube, unlike many stamina and defense tips that are incredibly more vulnerable to bursting.

On top of that, because it ends in a sharp point, it achieves impressive spin time. In stationary battles, it struggles to beat Ball or Orb, but its defensive benefits make it a mega reliable and consistent option.

A huge advantage is that it lets you launch at full power without the risk of losing control. It is rare for it to rush to the edges on its own, allowing you to reach extremely high rotation speeds.

Its biggest issue comes from the large gear, since performing an Xtreme Dash will drain much more energy and can even cause it to go wild and be launched out of the stadium on its own. In the best case, it can also Counterattack if it lands the hit. Still, for a defensive Bey that wants to preserve energy, these rail contacts can cost the match, and lighter Beys can get sent flying even more easily.

It is worth noting that early versions had a slight inward curve on one of the edges, causing small rebounds when tilting and making it easier to destabilize. Later releases fixed this flaw, resulting in much more effective and consistent support.

Basically, it is like Metal Fight’s Wide Defense: excellent knockout defense, mega high burst resistance, strong stability, and solid stamina!
