High Needle

High Needle is a sharp Bit 1 mm taller than the original Needle, with a wider and less pronounced opening angle.

Having a more open shape, the tip makes contact with the ground before the standard Needle, offering better defensive support. Its behavior is reminiscent of Semi Defense from the Metal era, providing greater stability and better energy conservation during impacts.

It still preserves Needle's classic tilt qualities, but having a wider cone it performs wider circles around the stadium, which helps to stay out of the center and reduce exposure to direct attacks. However, if it over-tilts, it can swing out too much toward the edges, making its recovery difficult and losing stamina in the final spins.

Its prolonged tilt makes it ideal for heavy combos that seek to smash or wear down from above.

With the wear of the edge, its defense will improve even more, it gains initial movement and reduces the risk of over-tilting, which usually results in better stamina throughout the battle.

It continues to be less versatile than round Bits, since it still leaves you vulnerable on the sides and the back, although to a lesser extent, but its potential to withstand pushes and drops as a Shield Defense is remarkable.
