00GoatTackle summary
Tackle Goat (GoatTackle by Takara Tomy) is a 31.5 g BX Blade, released in July 2025.
Goat Tackle manages to worsen a Bey that was already among the most punished, something one would think was no longer possible. However, we must recognize the ingenuity in how they adapted the BlackShell base to faithfully represent the bighorn sheep. So at least visually it is remarkable. But in Battle you would have to pay the rival to be able to win.
01Mythology
It is based on the bighorn sheep, known for its powerful charges and head-on collisions in territorial disputes. Its curved horns can weigh up to 14kg; they are agile climbers with great vision.
02Description
It is a re-mold of BlackShell, so it shares the same structural base with minimal but important changes:
- > The design incorporates the head and horns of the sheep.
- > The profile of each division is wider, especially at the periphery.
- > It is approximately 1 gram lighter.
03Performance
It shares the same deficiencies as BlackShell, but even worse. Having wider divisions and being lighter, the recoil is exaggeratedly high. As a result, it loses energy way too easily in every impact.
This forces you to depend even more on launch power to try to compensate for its limitations and perhaps land a critical hit, but even with that, it is really complicated to get results that are even decent. Since the original mold was already super complicated to use, and this one does not correct any of its deficiencies; rather, it amplifies them.
04Ways to use it
On flat Bits and launching at maximum speed, looking for a critical hit that can knock out or burst the rival, trusting that it will survive the impact.
Why does it work this way?
Blader's Path explains it step by step: Bey physics, how to build combos and how to test them.
