00Storm Pegasis summary

Storm Pegasus (Storm Pegasis by Takara Tomy) is a 31.1 g Metal Fight remake Blade, released in Japan on March 21, 2025.

Storm Pegasus looks spectacular from the front, and while its weight is decent, its terrible performance is caused by that intentional imbalance that hurts several remakes, and in its case, it is among the most affected to the point that it doesn't let it shine in practically anything.

Fortunately, its successors Aero Pegasus and Blast Pegasus compensate for its legacy by being among the best in the generation. So this remains a nostalgic and visually beautiful Bey for the collection that keeps your Blade Spirit alive!

01Mythology

It is based on the Pegasus constellation, inspired by the winged horse from Greek mythology. According to myth, Pegasus was born from the blood of Medusa and was able to fly to Olympus, becoming a symbol of freedom.

02Description

It seeks to replicate the original Storm Pegasus as faithfully as possible, merging all its parts into a single structure. The old Metal Wheel is preserved entirely in metal, while the rest is plastic. On the bottom part, it incorporates an additional layer of blue plastic to allow assembly with the Ratchet, although visually it remains almost identical to the original.

Its three wings, just like the original, do not protrude from the general circumference and feature smooth slopes. The rest of the periphery is practically round. From below, it can be seen that the wings have asymmetrical gaps between each one. This makes it super unstable.

03Performance

This great imbalance completely destroys it, as it causes constant bounces and significantly reduces its spin time. Additionally, the lower plastic layer raises the metal more than ideal, increasing instability and making it difficult to hit squarely with the metal part.

On the other hand, its rounded shape has low aggressive potential, just like the original: since the impacts from the edges of its segments are hidden toward the center and are very narrow, while the rest of its periphery is quite smooth, so it has nothing to hit hard with consistently.

Although this smoothness can reflect attacks in defensive combos, its low stamina and tendency to wobble—especially with small Bits and during final spins—make it way too difficult to survive until the end. So it doesn't stand out in attack, nor in stamina, nor in defense, and even worse, it is incredibly unstable. Sadly, it has no remarkable qualities.

04Ways to use it

Smash Attack

Take advantage of maximum acceleration to look for a push at the right moment. It requires precision and power, but consistency will be low.

Mobile Defense

On semi-aggressive Bits with controlled movement, seeking to generate momentum around the stadium to push the rival and look to survive by spin time against other aggressive Beys.

05Base combo

Storm Pegasus 3-70RA

It is very tall and has mega low stamina due to the rubber Bit, which loses acceleration quickly. It depends almost entirely on the first impact; if it doesn't manage to knock out the rival at the start, its chances decrease drastically. it is an allusion to its original combo, but the rubber no longer shines like before and I also don't understand why they made it so tall when the original was extremely low.

06Combos

1
Storm Pegasus 3-60LR

A traditional attack configuration with good control and power. Low Rush offers a reliable middle ground with low height to hit directly with the metal; you can also use Level or Taper if you want a more mobile and defensive approach.

Why does it work this way? Blader's Path explains it step by step: Bey physics, how to build combos and how to test them. See the book
