01Description

BlastPegasus is made up of three large wings that clearly extend beyond the circumference, forming an almost triangular silhouette. The outline of each wing is mostly smooth, but the front of each one concentrates most of the weight and exposes a lower edge along with a very sharp upper edge.

At the center, it features a plastic layer with wing-like texture that does not interfere with contact and strongly recalls the Clear Wheels from that era.

At 34.4 grams, it is currently the heaviest Main Blade in the system, and it also has an exceptional weight distribution that gives it outstanding stamina within the CX line, even surpassing the average of many BX/UX Blades.

02Performance

BlastPegasus is, without exaggeration, the most complete CX so far, standing out in almost every aspect.

Its smooth, low-recoil perimeter alone already allows it to defend extremely well against aggressive hits. At the same time, its impact power is brutal due to its naturally aggressive triangular shape, its sharp upper edges carrying most of the mass, and all of that combined with its high weight. Head-on, those edges can land lethal hits, and when striking from below, the curvature on the upper side can destabilize opponents, making every impact super powerful and consistent.

The wildest part is that with the right Assist and Chip, Blast reaches some of the heaviest combos to date, turning into a scary tank with solid stamina, defensive capability, and insane pushing power.

Heavy in particular completely unlocked it. Wheel added weight and roundness for defense, but left it too tall and vulnerable to stadium outs. Heavy, on the other hand, lowers height, boosts stability, adds maximum possible weight, and lines up perfectly by rounding the perimeter while leaving its most aggressive points exposed. It basically released its full potential, to the point where you almost forget it’s a CX because of how strong it becomes.

Its main weaknesses are left-spin Beys, which it struggles to equalize against due to its high weight, and other heavy aggressive Beys whose contact points can catch on its edge and cause significant recoil. On top of that, it’s not an easy Blade to control: the massive inertia it generates can spiral out of control if the launch and movement pattern aren’t mastered. That said, once you learn it, it becomes a true all-terrain monster.

03Ways to use it

Aggressive Attack

At mid to mid-low heights, with good tilt and control. It does not require a metal Chip, since a plastic one allows freer movement. It can alternate between Smash Attack, Upper Attack, and pure pushing thanks to its weight. Its potential is massive and it can handle any opponent, really depending on the player’s skill to fully unleash it.

Counterattack

On tips like Point. It can wait for impact using its weight and return it with huge power thanks to the Xtreme Dash. This allows you to choose between going on the offensive early or playing a more reactive role.

Mobile Tank

On semi-aggressive or aggressive tips with good stamina like Rush. Extremely heavy and stable, it works as a moving wall that damages opponents on impact, pushes when needed, or even evades thanks to its stamina.

Stationary Tank

On high-traction stationary tips like Ball or Under Needle, in low and heavy combos. It stays in the center countering hits. Against other tanks, it can be launched harder to take advantage of the pendulum effect and look for early pushes.

Why does it work this way? Blader's Path explains it step by step: Bey physics, how to build combos and how to test them. See the book
